Get ready to count down our top five events for this year:

5. Halloween Chef’s Table

At number five, we have our Halloween Chef’s Table. Throughout this past year, our Members have enjoyed a unique and delicious Chef’s Table event every month! For this event, our Members enjoyed spooky tables covered in black tablecloths, cobwebs, and pumpkin napkins to set the mood and then watched our fabulous chef Michael and sous chef Bryon make and grill every course!

4. Senior Fitness Day

Our community goes all out for the holidays, and Senior Fitness Day is no exception. It was a day full of fun wellness classes, sports, healthy foods, and pool games! The day began with our early morning strength class, then moved into indoor bowling, putting, horseshoes, and even a ring toss. Our Members also spent some time in the pool and playing volleyball, badminton, and bocce ball! It was a day full of our Members being active and taking their health into their own hands!

3. Stop and Smell the Rose Signature Experience

Talk about a Signature Experience that was rosy pink! The whole event was a celebration of the Rose Bowl. Our Members enjoyed a trip to a local greenhouse, decorating rose floats, hearing a presentation by a Master Gardener, and so much more. Our Members definitely took the time to stop and smell the roses for this event!

2. Trip to Mount Airy

Coming in at number two was our Trip to Mount Airy! While there, our Members enjoyed celebrating all things Andy Griffith. They toured the Andy Griffith Museum, had lunch at Barney’s Café, and learned almost everything they could about him!

1. Fall Festival

And finishing the list at number one was our fabulous Fall Festival. This event was full of fun games, pumpkin decorating, delicious make-your-own dessert cup station, warm apple cider, and all different flavors of popcorn! There were also tons of different food trucks, lots of vendors, a live band, and even an Alzheimer’s Association fundraiser raffle. This Fall Festival was our best one yet!

And just like that, this year is ending, and we are ready to start another fantastic year full of fabulous events. We can’t wait to see what this year holds and how it will surpass this year’s events!
