The Supernova Award is our company’s highest individual honor each year. The individual on the leadership team receives votes from their colleagues as the community’s Supernova based on various criteria.
The criteria that the Executive Team bases the nomination on upholding our company’s mission to be caring professionals dedicated to quality services lead positively with integrity, take accountability, put the team before themselves, and embody the company’s vision to create communities where people live longer, healthier, and happier lives. The team member who stands out from the rest receives its prestigious Supernova Award from our Executive Team at the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Purple Gala Awards Ceremony!
This year, we are proud to congratulate our Transition Specialist, Cary Newberry-Giffin, as the recipient of the 2023 Homestead Hills Supernova Award. Cary’s goal is to ensure a seamless and compassionate transition for Members as they move into our community. Her goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where Members and their families feel supported and comfortable.
As a transition specialist, she believes she is crucial in helping older adults navigate this significant life transition’s emotional and logistical challenges. Cary provides personalized guidance, assistance, and resources to ease their move and ensure a seamless adjustment to their new living environment.
