Birthdays

Birthdays are something to be celebrated, so each month we have our grand party. Each of our Members were presented with a festive headband and a glass of Prosecco to start the evening off! As they got seated, they sipped on cosmopolitans while our Dining Services team brought out their meal. The menu included Spinach Salad, Grilled Salmon w/ Tuscan Cream Sauce, Herb Polenta Cake, Grilled Asparagus, and a 3-Layer Mousse Cake for Dessert. Join us in wishing our Members the happiest of birthdays!

New Year’s Eve

Cheers to 2021! Here at Homestead Hills, we’re excited for the prospect that the new year brings! We rang in 2021 with a festive happy hour where Members grabbed a headband, hat, and a noisemaker! It was a blast!

Sip ‘n Paint

Our holiday Sip and Paint event was a big hit with our Members. They had the afternoon to work on a winter wonderland and they turned out beautiful. It was a great tutorial, so our ladies took their time while they sipped on wine and painted. Aren’t these lovely?

National Hot Tea Day

To honor National Hot Tea Day, we hosted our monthly Afternoon Ladies Tea and Tell! It is an opportunity for our ladies to get together and safely share stories each month. It has been a really important part of our social calendar over the last year!

Vaccine

We proudly hosted our vaccine clinic for our 1st round of vaccinations last week! We’re so proud to be doing our part to keep our Members safe and stop the spread of the virus.

January Birthdays and Anniversaries

In honor of our January birthdays and anniversaries, we hosted our monthly dinner! This is a special way for our Members to celebrate one another and their special moments for the year.

Our Members dined on Spinach Salad, Bacon Wrapped Filets, Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli, and New York Cheese Cake for Dessert! It was delicious! Join us in saying celebrating our January babies and anniversaries!

Flower Arrangement

This month we had beautiful white and green flowers for our Winter flower arrangement class! They were fresh, succulent and beautiful. We added a pop of color with the yellow pom poms! How beautiful did these turn out?

Juicing

The year 2020 taught us all that finding ways to manage stress are important. One way we have tackled that within our community is through our monthly juice classes with Members! We talk about what stress is and how it relates to the release of cortisol in the body. Last week, we juiced beets, blueberries, celery, granny smith apples, kale, rosemary, and lemon! This is by far one of our favorite activities!

Archery

Our Archery group was back for another round of practice! The cooler weather is not holding them back, as long as the sun is out, so are they! We had a new Member join in on the fun this week after he heard how much fun we were having!
